YOUTH PROGRAMMING
MEET MISS DANI

Hi, my name is Dani, and I am the Youth Services and Outreach Coordinator at the Kingsville Public Library. I love helping children and youth find books that will spark their love for reading! As a child, I spent many hours a week at my local library devouring books like a hungry bookworm! I hope to meet all of the young bookworms in our community at the library.
I spend my free time teaching my three sons (ages 14, 12, and 9) how to sew, paint, craft, and create. I am committed to providing quality programming for youth of all ages and look forward to getting to know our youth through story time, arts programming, STEM and STEAM programming, and visits to the library. Please stop by to see me and tell me about your favorite books and authors!
I have a background in theatre and enjoy storytelling and creative play. I hold a BFA in Acting, a BFA in Technical Theatre and Design, an MA in Theatre History and Criticism, and am currently a PhD Candidate in Cultural Foundations of Education. My dissertation explores how theatre works to educate publics for participation in American democracy. I love talking about educational philosophy, so if you want to stop and chat, I can usually be found in the Children’s Room.

Books on the Go
As a school district library for Buckeye Local Schools, it is the mission of the Kingsville Public Library to provide teachers with fast and easy access to classroom resources through the Books on the Go Program. Items may be ordered by simply filling out a form and they will be delivered and picked up at the designated school. Available resources include everything from books, audiobooks, DVD’s, puppets, and STEM/technology items.
Teachers can order specific books and materials or books and materials relating to the topic of their choice to be delivered to your school or childcare center. Miss Dani can also bring a mobile library to your facility for use by your students. We will even set up a pickup time for material returns.

Request for Outreach Programming
The library can bring programming to you. Outreach programming is available for Adult, Youth and Technology. Activities include Arts/Crafts, Music/Songs, Creative Drama/Puppets, Stories/Storytelling, Educational Enhancement, Cricut Makerspace.

STEM on the Go
We have a variety of STEM and technology resources that we can bring into your classroom. These include Lego, Rokenbok engineering toys, OSMO bots, and more. STEM on the Go programs is tailored to the needs of your students.

Storytime on the Go
Miss Dani can bring Storytime to your classroom! Storytimes will be tailored to the specific needs of your students and generally run for 30 minutes. Each Storytime on the Go program will include two books and an art project.

Adult Clubs & Meetings
MEET AJ

Hi, my name is AJ, and I am the Adult Services Coordinator at the Kingsville Public Library. That is the technical title for my job, but I am the one having all the fun!
I have spent most of my life living and working right here in Ashtabula County. The position I have at the library is my dream job. My degree and background are in education, and I love both teaching and learning. So, being the person who designs and implements programs at the library is a perfect fit! We have programs, lots of programs! I love cooking, crafting, Cricuting and upcycling. I share my passion for these in some of our adult programs and services at the library. COMPUTER/TECHNOLOGY
MEET MARTHA

Hi, my name is Martha, and I am the Digital Literacy Trainer at the Kingsville Public Library. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Education with ten years of teaching experience, and I love helping people on their learning journey! I’m a third-generation library employee who fully understands that the library is the heart of the community. I’m also a lifelong library patron and volunteered as a student library aide at Edgewood Senior High School from my sophomore year until graduation.
I am here to provide support to help you with all of your digital literacy needs using computers, mobile devices, or craft machines. Whether you need help troubleshooting your device, filling out an online job application, accessing your audiobooks or eBooks, or want to use our Maker Space, come and see me! My goal is to provide programming for all areas of technology at Kingsville Public Library, including using our patron computers, the Makerspace, and the items available to borrow from the Makerspace shelves.
I enjoy a multitude of activities in my free time, including camping, crafting, playing board games, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Martha offers one-on-one technology help by phone or in person. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. You may make an appointment by calling 440-224-0239 or by emailing pctech@kingsvillelibrary.org. This service is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the State Library of Ohio with the award of the Guiding Ohio Online Grant.

with exemplary customer service. They seek to nurture the quest for lifelong learning and to engage the community through dynamic services for all ages. The staff go above and beyond for us because they truly care.
Friends of Kingsville Public Library

The Kingsville Public Library Friends’ Organization has been in existence since 1972 and was instrumental in obtaining funds for the 1985 building addition. The members have worked to provide many extras for the library and staff, such as: Architect & consultation fees for building additions, landscaping for the new building additions, and office furniture, several copy machines through the years, new library signs and behind the scenes support and encouragement. We are most grateful for this energetic and enthusiastic group. For more information about the Friends of the Kingsville Public Library please email reference@kingsvillelibrary.org
